Http 404 Not Found - Specifically when accessing www.google.com or www.gmail.com

Hi,
It would help us to know:
1. Which version of Windows? (Including SP level- e.g.  Windows 7, Vista SP1, XP SP2 , 32-bit, 64-bit, etc. Right-click Computer/My Computer> Properties to obtain this information)

2. Which version of Internet Explorer? (From IE> Help> About)
3. What, specifically, have you tried.
4. Have you worked through this article?

5. Try clearing the DNS Cache
Windows XP: Start> Run> cmd [enter]
ipconfig /flushdns
Then clear the Temporary Internet Files and restart
Vista or Windows 7: Run the command ipconfig /flushdns from an elevated command prompt
